What do I wear??
During a Pilates session it is always advisable to wear something that you can move freely in as well as feel comfortable in..... Below I have listed a few examples.
Tracksuit
Leggings
Shorts
Tee shirt
Cropped top
I'm sure you get the picture, do make sure clothing is not too baggy as Posture and body alignment is crucial in a Pilates class, I do need to see body alignment as well as technique, body movement is observed throughout your session. Fine stripes in clothing is to be avoided also as this again can detract me from seeing body lines.
Footwear is not needed, socks are optional,If you are prone to cramp a light pump or trainer shoe can be worn.We aim to work the muscles and bones of the feet also!
Always bring a bottle of water, water is available at the studio if you forget! Remember dehydration dries the body out, bones and joints too as well puts strain on our vital organs!!!
Please feel welcome to view my relevent National Qualifications to date. I have many certificates for workshops and seminas to which I attend, however I have only listed below national qualifications & the most relevent to my practice. I like to also honour the fact that I teach members from the medical industry including GP's & Physiotherapists. Which goes to show we all need Pilates in our life!!
